📜 Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Synkros. By using the service, you agree to follow these rules. If you don’t agree, just don’t use it. Simple as that.

1. What Synkros Is

Synkros is a free, anonymous file-sharing platform. You upload a file, share a link, and it gets deleted automatically after 24 hours. Files are encrypted at rest and in transit. We don’t ask who you are, and we don’t care.

2. What You Can’t Do

You can’t use Synkros for anything illegal or abusive. That includes, but isn’t limited to:

• Uploading anything illegal (e.g., CSAM, malware, stolen data, copyrighted content you don’t own, etc.)
• Trying to hack, overload, or mess with the service infrastructure
• Using Synkros to harass, impersonate, or endanger others

We don’t monitor your uploads, but if we’re made aware of abuse, we’ll take appropriate action — including deleting files and blocking access.

3. File Storage & Deletion

All files are stored encrypted and automatically deleted after 24 hours. We do not store file contents beyond that period. No backups. No versions. No recoveries. When it's gone, it's gone.

4. Data and Privacy

We don’t log your IP. We don’t set cookies. We don’t track you. We only collect the bare minimum necessary to make the service function. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. No Guarantees

Synkros is provided “as is”. There’s no warranty or guarantee that your file will be available for the full 24 hours, or that uploads/downloads won’t fail. It’s a free tool — not a storage service, not a CDN, not Dropbox.

6. Liability Limit

We are not liable for any damages, losses, or headaches resulting from your use (or misuse) of Synkros. You use it at your own risk. Don’t rely on it for anything critical or irreplaceable.

7. Ownership & License

You retain full ownership of anything you upload. We don’t claim your stuff. You’re just temporarily storing encrypted bytes with us. Our code and platform are licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0. But hosted usage is bound by these Terms.

8. Rule Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we do, we’ll update the date and post it here. Continued use means you’re cool with the changes.
